Chico is a coming 4 yr old bay roan. He is not registered. When we got him he was skinny and malnourished. He is now fat and happy but too spirited for me. He is broke to ride but takes work to get to canter. Did buck a little the first time we asked him to canter. He has decent ground manners but does need work. we have been using a hackmore. I am looking for something more laid back. His previous owner used him for barrels but we just use him for pleasure. Would make a great horse for the more experienced. He still has room to grow. Please keep in mind that these pictures are a few months old and he has gained a lot of weight since we first got him. I am willing to trade for a more laid back horse. He MUST go to a good home! Update- we have been working with him everyday it's not raining. He would be great at a job. He's quick and can spin on a dime. This is a seriously smart horse. Even the farrier said he would make an awesome horse. Has been trimmed and wormed recently! Update- have been working on small jumps, pole bending, and barrel racing. He is catching on nicely.
