Polydor grandaughter! Hanoverian JBP! Int'l showjumper! EE/Aa!
UPDATE! Daughter Polydor's Pixie is 2011 USDF Champion DSHB All Breed award recipient, and in dressage breeding USEF Silver Stirrups award., zone Champion. Her 2 daughters earned a 4th place finish at Dressage at Devon, & Satinka got reserve Champion.
Polydor grandaughter! Powerful, scopey, experienced, brave showjumper. competed internationally in both Canada and the United States. Has come back from Ocala, Jacksonville, Atlanta amongst others with blue ribbons. Knows her job in the jumper ring... you just have to have the stickability to hang on! She's fast, honest and unflappable, but NOT an amateurs' horse. Needs confident, calm, sensitive, experienced rider. Goes in a rubber dee bit. Prior to show jumping career, Riverdance evented in Canada.
She's a big gorgeous girl at 16.3H. Always sound. Lives outside right now, but lived for many years in a show barn environment(comfortable with both). Just had a filly in August 2010, who is ready to be weaned, so mom can go...
Riverdance (show name), is the dam of the fabulous mare Satinka. Both are registered and branded Westphalian, and were approved with the AHS Jumper Breeding Program after their MPT in 2009. She produces premium foals, phenomenal movers, and is an amazing mover herself! She is also approved with the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association, premium status. Her registered name is Pinta, and is truly jumper bred with the correct infusion of TB, hailing back to such greats as Nasrullah, Nearco and Man'O'War!
Great with the kids, she's a gentle giant. No vices; sound; up to date on shots, deworming, current coggins, teeth done this autumn, easy. Excellent shipper (was born in British Columbia, and has travelled all over Canada and the US), great for farrier, vet, dentist, etc. Easy to palpate for breeding (no sedation required), foaled out herself this year; great mom! Also had her tested with VGL, Riverdance is homozygous for the black gene EE/Aa! Meaning that it is impossible for her to produce a chestnut! I can also confirm that I tested her 2 daughters and they both are also homozygous for the black gene, so if you're trying to avoid breeding that chestnut, she's the mare for you!
Selling because she's too awesome a mare to just sit around, and as I have no upcoming breeding plans for her (since I have 2 of her daughters), I would love to see her either make someone real happy in the jumper ring, or produce some more amazing foals for someone. You can produce the next Satinka or Polydor's Pixie!
The last time she was jumped was last year, around the time she was put in foal. She gets fit fast though. Perfect timing to get her ready for this years show season, or to breed in 2011!
Very reasonably priced so that she can find a home for the new
season. Very motivated! Call for pricing.
