Celeste is an amazing little horse! She is for a smaller rider since she's not all that tall herself, but she can carry older/heavier people with ease! She is regularly ridden by riders varying between 5'6" and 5'11", weighing between 150 and 230 pounds and doesn't have a problem with any of them, even going over 3' jumps!

Very much an in-your-pocket type of horse, she's so sweet, loving, adorable - any child or teenager (or adult!) will fall in love with her. We absolutely love her and want her to go to a wonderful home.

Celeste is great with mares and geldings in turnout, but tends to be a little bit lower in the pecking order, so please don't turn her out with aggressive horses. She is a very easy keeper, is kept on round bales and just a handful of grain each day.

She has automatic flying lead changes and does them whenever she's asked, too! She is very balanced and so much fun to ride! She has shown at lots of local shows including TTC and placed very well. She has been trained/shown dressage. She has a KILLER collection/headset and is absolutely gorgeous when she moves out! Great scope when she's jumping, whether it's a 12" crossrail or a 3' vertical! Doesn't refuse jumps unless the rider is incredibly unsure/unsettled about the jump - otherwise she just keeps going!

This little girl can go all day long - trail riding, jumping, and more. She's currently being used in a riding school as a trail ride/lesson horse. We were looking for something a little bit slower when we purchased her, but she just has a little too much go for the beginners. She is not dangerous by any means, but needs a rider that already knows how to walk/trot/canter and can handle how incredibly she is. This mare can just about canter in place! She knows how to leg yeild, shoulder-in, half-pass, and piaffe. She can spin in place, back up, stand square. She is traffic safe, we ride her next to busy roads and through busy neighborhoods with barking dogs and stuff, no problems whatsoever.

She is very adaptable to her environment no matter what it is - shows, different farms, etc. She doesn't take any extra work to get warmed up or calmed down when she goes to shows or on off-site trail rides or whatever. She's always ready to go any time you take her out. She's a favorite at the barn, very sweet and loving and wonderful. This is a one of a kind little mare with amazing movement, great temperament, and so much to offer!! She would make a great lesson horse for more advanced riders (riders that know how to walk/trot/canter/jump or do dressage), teenagers, or kids wanting a great show pony.

She is NOT mareish! When she goes into heat you can barely tell! She isn't mean to other horses, doesn't get tempermental or anything.
She just had her Coggins pulled and her teeth floated and feet done within the last month. She is up to date on all her shots and won't be due until next fall. No health problems, great ground manners. Walks right onto any kind of trailer - I have a small, ramp-load straight load two horse trailer and she walks right on! Stands great for the farrier. Every day at feeding time we just open her paddock gate and she goes right into her stall if we leave the door open!

Stands to be mounted, will cross anything - mud, water, logs, rivers, ditches. Haven't met anything yet that phases this awesome little mare!

She is 14.3 hands high, just shy of 15 hh. Free lunges or lunges well in the round pen. Rides in a snaffle bit or a hackamore. Leads great, will follow you anywhere. Not mean, no vices - doesn't crib, weave, bite, kick, buck, rear. On the very rare occasion if she's gone without much work for a month, she'll throw in a "fun buck" after a jump if she hasn't had much work. Other than that, nothing!

I think that Celeste would be a better "one person" horse than one for a riding school - she is the kind of horse that will bond well and quickly to that special person, and together the two of them can go very far!

Call today to come see Celeste - at this price, she won't last long at all!!
