Palomino Stallion by Shining Spark!!!
*SHINERS JAE BAR* a palomino stallion by Shining Spark!
We're going to tell you a little story here about this stallion, but actually it isn't a little story because there's so much to tell. This stallion has everything in the world going for him -- good disposition, beautiful color, a proven sire in his own right, and as good a pedigree as what there is in the Quarter Horse breed today. Shiner has it all and a whole lot more to boot.
Shiner is a 1998 model and he's a picture himself with rich golden palomino color and a long white mane and tail.He is very gentle and has perfect manners. His colts are athletic, pretty, and very trainable. Although not a lot of his colts have been taken to the show ring the ones that have proved themselves and became AQHA point earners. Shiner has had reining training and can really handle himself. He can spin and you better be sitting down deep in the saddle when you ask him to stop because he's going to hit the ground and slide no matter what speed he's going at. He's also been started in the roping pen. Shiner has been hand bred and pasture bred.
Shiner's daddy is none other than Shining Spark himself. You could easily write a book about Shining Spark but we're going to just hit some of the high points. After Shining Spark won the National Reining Horse Association Derby and became the AQHA World Champion in reining he went on to become one of the leading sires in history. His offspring have earned over 8 million dollars and over 32 000 AQHA points. He is the sire of 66 World or Reserve World Champions. He is the all time leading sire with the National Reined Cow Horse Association and the first and only stallion to become a 3 million dollar sire in that association. He is the 4th leading National Reining Horse Association sire and the youngest 3 million dollar in that association's history. He is also a leading performance sire in the AQHA. There's no doubt whatsoever that Shining Spark will go down in history as one of the greatest stallions of all time.
Shiner's mother is Jae Bar Carman who is one heck of a producer in her own right. This mare produced 19 foals, 9 of which became money or point earners. Her foals earned over 100 AQHA points, over $40 000 at National Cutting Horse Association shows, over $8500 at National Reined Cow Horse Association shows, $1500 at National Reining Horse Association shows, and they were also point earners with the Palomino Horse Breeders Association. Jae Bar Carman is an own daughter of AQHA Champion Docs Jack Sprat who is a leading sire and the sire of Sun Frost -- the horse that changed the whole barrel racing industry. Docs Jack Sprat is an own son of Hall of Famer Doc Bar.
Due to his age of Shiner's Dad "Shining Spark" we understand that the book has been closed to the public. The last breedings available to him were offered at $25,000 each. Shiner himself was bred by a partnership between Carol Rose (the all time leading breeder with the AQHA), and Bobby Lewis (the all time leading point earning trainer with the AQHA). You definitely will be buying a piece of quarter horse history if you bred to this stallion.
