We are in the business of breeding, training and offering for sale quality Canadian horses. Josette is better known as Josey, she has a calm, quiet loving nature, very friendly loves people. We removed Josey from our breeding program and are offering her for sale as a riding horse only. She is not marish at all and is a joy to be around as she does not spook at anything. She is not a jumpy horse, she is somewhat laid back and requires someone with a little assertiveness. My 9 yr old has been riding her in the arena teaching her to play horse soccer and she really seems to enjoy play and trail riding. To attest to her lovely nature, my 11 yo riding student with one year of lessons rode her in our July 1st Canada day parade this year and also rode Josey on a 12 mile trail ride complete with teams and wagons with no difficulty. She is typically Canadian in every way. Josey is black and does not fade. Vaccinations, deworming and hoofcare are all up to date. We are currently riding her in a halter hackamore, she has been ridden western and australian stock saddle and bareback. Josey would make a great trail mount or family horse. Here's your opportunity to own a Canadian at a very reasonable price. Photos and video upon request.

Hello Dawn,
Josey is an excellent riding horse and I'm selling her as a riding horse only. She is not breeding sound, when I bred her she came down with a condition called Anhydrosis and lost the ability to sweat, this made her a very high risk pregnancy and also endangered her life, however after her foal was weaned she regained the ability to sweat and has become a lovely riding horse and is healthy when not bred. If I am honest to a fault so be it, I refuse to sell her as a breeding animal, if however you are interested in a great riding horse please feel free to contact me again. Thank you for your interest.
