For Sale, outstanding registered American Bashkir Mare, bay, 16 years old. This is one of the best individual curly mares I have seen. I spent two years searching for a warmblood type curly mare that met my standards. She produces substantial babies. Her last colt is now working as a therapy horse. She is fun to ride, with a big extended walk and trot. She has not been worked in an arena as none was available. She is fabulous on trails, in the ocean, crossing creeks or rivers. She can be ponied and pony’s other horses. She has camped out overnight on picket lines. Nor does she spook or have any bad habits. I bought her to start breeding but plans changed and I now don’t have the facilities for breeding. She would make a great endurance or combined driving horse, with her calm very forward demeanor, incredible stamina and great walk-trot gaits for dressage. I have trained this mare. When I purchased her and her colt neither had been trained just halter broken. I am a professional trainer of many years but now only train my own horses.

She is out of a pre-potent dam, Independence Zarina. Many of this dam’s get have the overall balance and style of my mare. This mare has always been sound with fabulous legs and feet. She looks and acts like a seven year old mare. She is only fed grass hay in the winter and is just on pasture during spring, summer and fall. She has a very curly coat in winter and keeps a full mane and tail all year round.
