Meet Pazaar. He is a 2013 AIHR registered Stallion. Accelerate X Dominga. He is a bay dun roan and his father was homozygous for the dun factor. He has not been tested. His Sire passed away a few years back from colic and he is part of a rapidly diminishing breed. This is your chance to own and preserve a part of American history. For those who are not familiar he is a Registered American Indian Horse. Here is a link if you would like to read a little more about the breed.
Pazaar has been a dream to work with and train. I have owned him since he was 4 months old and hardly halter broke. He's 14hh and still growing. He is the only horse that I can honestly say was "Born Broke". From the time he was young we had played with him, gave him baths, handled him, taught him to lunge, be respectful and be gentle. This year when we started working with him more, I literally put a saddle on him and he acted like he had had one on a million times before. From the first day we sat on him, he has yet to do anything wrong. Walk, trot, cantered his first day under saddle and had a natural idea of what his job was. In fact his first ride started in the area and then went on a few mile trail ride with some of his buddies and was a champ on the trail. This horse is soft in the bridle, by day 4 was side passing off our legs, he has a natural head set and works off your seat and voice cues. He has a natural slide stop on the lunge line and is a dream to work and ride each time we bring him out. He will turn a perfect forward moving circle with a touch of the rein and finishes with your leg and seat. He has been ridden bareback and in a saddle. He rides in a snaffle bit. He is a horse that will take someone far and has a lot of natural talent and ability. This is a very difficult choice to offer Pazaar up for sale as he has been my dream horse my whole life. Pazaar is not spooky. He's very willing and honestly you would never know he is still a stallion. I really have nothing bad to say about this handsome boy. He will exceed in cattle work, penning, sorting, reining and barrels. He is meant to preform and he does that overtime you sit your butt on him.
This is what Andrea, his breeder had this to say about my little boy....
"The Natives rode a wide variety of horses - many tribes had appy colored horses but also had paint/pinto horses - some tribes kept the "spanish pony" type those are considered the originals - the Sioux and Crow had curlies also. Many breeds trace back here in the US - some tribes rode whatever they could get their hands on - some such as the Chickasaw and Choctaw had strict breeding programs. There is still a small amount of purebred Choctaw horses left. Both Maria's new colts trace directly to Choctaw lines."
