Oh the Possibilities!
Oh the possibilities! If you want JUST a house, this isn't for you. If on the other hand you'd like a house AND the potential to make some money, read on.
First let's talk about the house itself. Can you say BIG? It has over 3500 square feet of finished living space and if you really needed more, you could finish more of the lower level! The main level consists of a living room, formal dining room, eat-in kitchen, 4 season room, 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths and a laundry room. The living room has some nice built-ins on both sides of the gas log fireplace and patio doors leading to the deck. In the dining room there is nice cabinetry and a window seat. The kitchen has lots of cabinetry, a built in desk, an island with a sink and dishwasher on one side and a breakfast bar on the other. I think the thing I would enjoy the most in the kitchen is the bright, cheery dining area. There are French doors from the kitchen that lead to the 4 season room which would make a great place for plants or maybe as a play room. On the lower level you'll find a huge family room with another gas log fireplace. There are 2 more bedrooms and another full bath on this level.
There's a wrap around deck that will give you plenty of space for the whole crew to hang out plus there's a patio below it. Not only is it nice to have a place for cook outs and just relaxing but it's kind of neat to sit out on the deck and admire the rest of your property!
Speaking of the rest of the property, let's talk a bit about some of those possibilities and potential income I mentioned. First and most obvious is the second house that's on the property. Depending on what you decide for the rest of the property, you may want to use this as a caretaker's house or maybe you have extended family you'd like close by or you could just use it for rental income. By the way, the current caretaker would consider staying. Next are the 10 trout ponds. I kind of like just looking at them from the deck but you may want to try to earn some money raising fish. Then there are the barns…or should I say barn. It's sort of two barns that are connected and have lean-tos. There is one portion that's approximately 42' x 72' that has an office, a shop area, a laundry room/bathroom plus several other areas used for storage. There's another portion of it that's approximately 50' x 215'. The arena and the majority of the horse stalls (about 50) are in this portion. Outside of the barn there's a 60' round pen for training horses and three, 3 sided shelters. Hmmm…what might you do with all of this? Board horses? Maybe you have horses of your own that you need all of this for. On top of all of this, there's a field you may want to grow some hay in plus the Embarrass River runs through the property! By the way there are 39.95 acres altogether (per A/O).
So are the wheels turning in your head? Wait until you see it in person then they'll really start turning!
