Stormy is a real nice 13 year old Thoroughbred mare. She is approx. 16HH. Good feet, straight legs. I got her in september in hopes of turning her into a barrel/o-mok-see horse. I put about 3 weeks of training on her through a course of the last few months. She unfortunately is not going to work for me. She is very smart and catches on to any training quickly. I have ridden her in: both indoor/outdoor arena, small pasture, round pen. She walks, trots and lopes circles ( with alittle persuasion), she is rather lazy. I had a 16 year old boy ride her for me a few times and he bounced around on her, threw a rope off her, sacked her out. She trims, loads without a care, backs back out. Her only quirk that i have been unable to break her of was pulling back while tyed up. The only time she does this is when you tighten her cinch up, in time she will get over it. I have done tons of ground work both on a lunge line and in the round pen. The picture of Stormy were a few days after i got her so she was very thin. She is now fat and healthy.Have some paper work on her lineage that goes all the way back to Three Bars on her fathers side.
