This One-Eyed Cyclops Horse Has Scientists Confused - Real or Fake?
A one-eyed horse, nicknamed “Cyclops”, has been baffling scientists at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. It was born last summer in Zealand, Denmark but died immediately after.
“It is a fusion of two eyes - so it contains two of several things including the pupils.” He added “Such mutations can occur in all animals - even humans”
They do not know the exact cause of the eye deformity, but malformations of the central nervous system which accompany the eye mean it is impossible to find a living “cyclops”.
Another one-eyed foal was studied by the university more than 30 years ago. The institution is also home to a four-legged duck and a one-eyed pig.
