Over 40 years ago we lost all of our possessions in a house fire. Our third daughter was just three months old. When I called my mother to tell her of our loss, she asked two questions: "Did you lose the family Bible" . "Did you lose my mother's side saddle?" Our family is now grown and has their own family.I decided that one thing I wanted that was on my "bucket list" was an Arab mare. I found one but needed a good western saddle. I went to an Arab farm, Lu-Nor, south of Grand Rapids, Michigan. On the back of the saddle was a silver plate engraved with their name:" Earl." My mother's maiden name was Earl. More than 40 years had passed, but I had found the saddle my mother had asked about. GOD works in strange ways. Andy Johnson, GOD bless
