Second annual Colt Starter Challenge to take place in October 2012

Southeastern Farriers and Horseowners Association will be hosting their second Annual Colt Starter Challenge on October 20, 2012.
Last year's challenge was a success. The winner was Randy Abernathy. This year, he will be a judge for the challenge.
This year's challenge will feature trainers, Charles Pelham of Cornerstone Horsemanship, Morgan Harris of Carolina Horsemanship and Brock Griffith of Brock Griffith Horsemanship.
Richard Winters, who won the 2009 Road to the Horse, will be the master of ceremonies.
The Colt Starter Challenge provides an opportunity for horse owners, breeders and trainers in the area to see three trainers demonstrate the basics of putting a young horse under saddle.
The demonstrated benefits of non-coercive natural horsemanship training for the horse and the owner or rider, and to introduce to the public the horse trainers who live and work in our area.
