HorseClicks reaches out to rescue charities after pregnant mare is poisoned by owner
A pregnant spotted saddle horse from Memphis, called Cinnabon, is up for adoption by the Horse Haven of Tennessee rescue charity after her previous owner tried to poison her, while she was still pregnant!
Luckily Cinnabon and her baby survived, and Mary Roberts from Horse Haven of Tennessee is already thinking about names for the foal, "Cinnabon's baby will have big ears and we're thinking about naming her Cinnamini!"
Three to five horses are born at the rescue every year, and this story highlights how important horse rescues such as Horse Haven of Tennessee are in looking after our favorite four-legged companions.
For horse rescue charities the ability to rehome horses quickly for as little money as possible is key in keeping the charity able to do their good work saving horses. As most of their money is spent looking after the horse, they can not usually afford to advertise the horses online. That's why we are offering all horse rescue charities free subscriptions to our leading equine classifieds site!
This subscription will give the charity the ability to advertise all of their horses in need of rehoming to our large audience of horse lovers for free instead of the usual $60 a month, including the ability to add pictures and videos of the horse. If we can save horse charities money and help a neglected horse find it's forever home, then we're happy!
