UPDATE: Nov. 29, 2013; we free jumped Taluka up to a 3'6 vertical. She loved it, went back and forth through the chute all on her own!
4 Oaks Taluka, pinto, Weser EMS filly sired by (Bennos Dream x Waliant by Weltmeyer x Dornenkonig) born in 2011, should mature to a compact 14-14.2 hands.
Taluka is an amazing pony with gaits that could put the big warmbloods to shame and the personality to top it off. Taluka is registered with Weser-Ems earning Premuim status with site high point champion at her inspection through Weser-Ems.
In Germany, Taluka's sire, Benno's Dream was the 1999 Champion of his 30-day stallion test with a record score of 8.95 (159 points). His stallion test scores included a perfect 10 for rideability and marks of 9 and 10 on character, temperament and willingness. He received scores of 8 and 9 on gaits, free jumping, course jumping and cross-country work. He became the Reserve Champion of the Landeschampionat in Weser-Ems, and qualified for the Bundeschampionat. In 2000, Benno's Dream became the Champion of the Landchampionat of Weser-Ems and was again qualified for the Bundeschampionat. In Germany, Benno's Dream competed against horses, winning at third level dressage and 3'11 show jumping.
In 2002 Benno's Dream was imported to the United States. Benno's Dream again became an inspection site Champion - this time for the ISR/Oldenburg, N.A. Stallion Inspection; again receiving the free jumping score of 9.0. Bennos' Dream has the highest index score from the licensing of all ISR/Oldenburg, N.A. stallions: 237.5 points.
With Benno's Dream as her sire and famous Weltmeyer in the Taluka's bloodlines along with her confirmation and beautiful movement Taluka is a great prospect for someone looking for an FEI pony prospect. She is brave and full of confidence. We believe that Taluka would also make an exceptional hunter/jumper pony for some lucky Jr/Yr or small adult amateur. As with all the babies and young horses born and raised at the 4 oaks farm breeding program Taluka is handled on a daily basis and stands well for farrier and bathes.
