This is a Lakota C839 Charger Edition 3 horse with 9ft short wall living quarters. This trailer is all aluminum with aluminum roof and floor, 8’ wide, 7’6” tall and fully insulated in the living quarters and horse area. Even the hay rack, dividers, AND saddle rack are aluminum and light weight. This trailer comes with a generator and has one electric hydraulic 12k jack. Includes two 7K axles with load range E radial tires and black smoke aluminum wheels. Extruded slats on the horse area protects the skin and gives the trailer a finished look plus it adds additional strength. Also the trailer has additional clearance lights, and additional tail lights, for maximum visibility and safety when hauling.
Let’s start with the living quarters. Up in the bed area there is a TV on the right side mounted in a cabinet that swings out to be viewed by the bed area or the couch. There is a DVD/CD/AM/FM player, two interior, and two exterior speakers. There are two cabinets at the head of the bed and one by your feet. The couch folds into a bed for more sleeping arrangements. There are cabinets above and below the couch as well. Each window in the trailer has a pull down night shade. The kitchen area has a 2 burner recessed cooktop, a sink, a 6cuft fridge/freezer separate, and a microwave. There is a cabinet above and below the sink to store food or cleaning supplies.
In the bathroom you get a large neo angle shower, a toilet, a sink and a mirror. Above the shower there is a skylight, and above the toilet is a powered roof vent with a fan. There is lots of storage in the bathroom for clothes and toiletries. Also there is a walk through door to the first stall if you need to use it for even more storage.
Now onto the horse area! Double walled of course, fully insulated and like I stated earlier it has upgraded double LED tail and clearance lights for safer driving. This trailer has heavy duty drop-down feed doors with windows, with easy reachable handles and face guards. These are durable doors that are built with added convenience and with the customer in mind. No need to force open and slam shut, these doors operate with very little effort. Each stall also has drop-down feed doors with sliding bus windows on the tail side as well for extra air flow during those hot summer months. You get solid padded dividers with easy slam latches and the first stall has a stud divider with a solid bottom panel. The stud divider is very convenient if you have a horse that does not haul well with others, or if you need extra space to store ice chests, or shavings in the first stall on those long trips! There are feed mangers in the second, and third stall with outside access doors for more storage. Also this trailer has a drain in the mangers just in case you need to water a horse and it spills, or to rinse out and clean the mangers. The first stall has a drop down window in the escape door for better ventilation for the horse and a drop down step on the exterior for easy access. The rear door also has a large slider window for more air flow. Plus pop up roof vents above each stall. Plenty of air flow in this trailer!
The collapsible rear tack area includes a removable three tier saddle rack, 10 bridle hooks, a 4 tier blanket rack, and a brush tray on the door. All easily accessed by the folding step. The saddle rack is adjustable to any position you want for height. For extra visibility during the evening or night there are LED interior lights. To top it off, the tack room collapses all the way to make the door opening wide enough to load a quad or golf cart in the horse area to take to your events. For more visibility when working around the trailer at night there are flood lights on each side centered over the ties, and one on the back of the trailer. There are two 3-way switches, one on the back and one by the walk through on the inside to control these lights for convenience.
This unit has A/C and a furnace for great climate control no matter what the weather is. Also has a large awning to keep you shaded while outside on those long horse event days.
Liquid capacities are as follows: 30 gallon fresh water, 33 gallon black and grey tanks, and a 6-gallon gas water heater. Last but not least on the front of the trailer is the triple batteries sealed in plastic battery boxes, the spare tire, and two propane tanks. The front of the trailer is completely enclosed and lockable to make sure everything is secured.
And an unbeatable warranty to boot! 5 year structural, 2 year living quarters, and a 1 year hitch to Bumper - services performed at your nearest Lakota dealer or for appliances any RV center.
