Chocolate Chip came to us with a long standing injury to his back right stifle and hock joints (with an inoperable bone chip in his knee). We were able to keep him going for a bit with some hock injections and some oral medication (eventing and jumping 2'9). Currently he is a great friend to our horses and can do some light trail work. To get him sound for his previous job would require hock/stifle injections and due to some unexpected vet bills we are not able to keep up with his care needs. He would make a great companion pony, lead line (he is 13.3 and loves the kids!!) and potentially more with injections. We love him dearly and would only part with him to the right family. He is UTD on vaccines, farrier, teeth. He is an easy keeper and lives in a mixed herd of mares and geldings.
