I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and have decided to sell the rest of my heard. I recently sold off the majority of my heard but had decided to keep the stud and one jenny who was already pregnant. I love these three dearly and hate to see them go, but times are difficult.
Up for sale is three miniature donkeys. First is our stud, "Black Flag". He's approx. 12 years old (exact age and registration can be provided upon request), dark brown/black with cream/white belly and muzzle. He is the most stunning donkey I've come across, a truly amazing stud who throws the most beautiful variety of foals. Many stud males have acquired a "bad rep" as unmanageable, aggressive, and not meant to be kept as pets. Flag has broken this stereotype. He is the sweetest, most gentle equine I've kept. He adores attention and is the least aggressive donkey I've come across. He was purchased for $3,000 from a breeder in Texas and still has many years left of breeding if you so wish to.
Next up is our proven breeder jenny, "Faith". She was my first miniature donkey, purchased as a foal. She is a medium brown with the typical cream/white belly. She's 6-7 years old now and has had three healthy foals in her life time. She is also a sweetheart who craves attention but also has a bit of a sassy attitude that I love dearly. She has produced my favorite foals among the jennies I used to breed. She tends to throw dark brown to completely black foals. She was purchased along with our stud from the breeder in Texas for $2,000.
Faith's current foal, "Jimmy", is being sold along with herself. He has not been weaned completely but is eating hay. He was born April 30th, 2011, so he's just under 6 months old. He has not been gelded yet and would make a beautiful stud if kept intact. He is the offspring of our stud, Black Flag, and is almost the spitting image of him but has a nearly solid black belly. He is a strong, spirited, healthy young foal and is, by far, my favorite foal ever produced under my care. This little boy will make someone very happy.
Like most donkeys, these three aren't the biggest fans of dogs. They've each lived around dogs from the moment they came to our home, so they do tolerate them for the most part, but a couple of our more confident dogs have suffered a few kicks after trying to mess with them. These three are being sold together and will not be separated. They need to go to a home with plenty of room for them to roam and exercise.
I'm asking $3,000 for the entire group but am happy to entertain offers.Ask a question about this horse
