Beautiful bay registered Morab gelding with black points and tiny white star, dapples out beautifully in the summer. Alex is 12 years old, 15 HH a healthy hay burner with a winning personality. He loves people and is lovely on the ground, you can hug on him anywhere, picks up his feet, not at all head shy. Never has bitten or kicked. Would love to see him trained to drive, he is very flashy with a lovely long mane. My husband and I have begun riding him but he is still green and needs a confident rider as he can be stubborn in true Arabian fashion and needs someone who can tell him who's boss. His previous owners had neglected to do anything with him so his training is beginning late but he's been a fast learner and is so friendly and easy to work around. We are riding him currently with a bareback pad and bitless bridle and he is never hard to handle. He's got a very forward walk and a floating trot, canter looks lovely in his pasture, I have not been working that under saddle yet. We bought him as a trail and pleasure horse and are finding that he is lonely here on his own and I think would do better in a home with other horses and someone with the time to work with him more. He is not spooky on trails and responds well to reassurance about new things. We have been working on ground work, backing, bending, turning on the front and back legs, he is eager to please. Goes barefoot, good solid hoofs for his size and build. Would make someone a stand out of the crowd 4H or teenager show horse. We are sad to part with him and need the right home that will appreciate all the love he has to give, free lease with option considered as well. We just want him to be content. Up to date on worming, shots and farrier. Here's your chance to own a fantastic horse, you can't meet him and not fall in love!
