Ferus was bought for mountain riding. He is "near show quality". He stands still to mount from either side, trailer-tie or trim/shoe. He has been high-lined, hobbled and overnight camped. He crosses bridges without hesitation, is quiet around cows and loud farm machinery. He trailers well with strange horses and is respectful of other horses on the trail. He can walk slowly with non-gaited horses or move smoothly into a running walk to cover more ground.
Ferus has over 100 hours of professional training, with a two week tune-up spring, 2011. He has been ridden only once since then, so we prefer an experienced rider.
