Outgrown! 14.1 h grey pony mare. perfect fit for a family or junior rider looking to move up. She has nearly perfect ground manners, easy to catch, stands tied to the trailer, stands cross tied quietly in wash rack- never moves, good for the farrier, vaccinations, and wormings. Wonderful in her stall, very neat and mannerly. Blankets, sheets, hoods are no problem to get on and off.
This mare is nicely broke for an intermediate beginner type rider. She has drug stuff behind her, currently jumping to 2', smooth gaits, dressage basics, rides in a snaffle. Easy to ride in and out of the arena. Short video clip showing her free jumping is available.
I gave a petite 16 year old riding lessons on her summer 2012. She is a dependable, mild mannered, easy to ride, very easy going, and gentle horse to have in the lesson string. She has been very forgiving, and willing to put up with quite a few mistakes on the part of her rider. Rode 2-3 days a week currently in an indoor facilty working on dressage, she could be ready to show first level this spring.
Will take either english or western saddle. Cute over fences, and has been down the road. Gave leadline rides over Christmas to my three nephews who'd never been on a horse before. After they got comfortable on her, we removed the leadrope and they rode her around the indoor without any assistance from us.
Love this cute little mare, she really wants to bond one on one with a youth of her own. She loves being washed and braided, blanketed and just loved on. I'm selling her because the kids are riding bigger horses, and don't have the time for her. This little horse would be great for a young rider looking for a larger pony. I have her under saddle 2-3 days a week to keep her in shape, but I have 'young' horses who need my attention. $3,000 obo Price could be negotiated for an A+++ home.
