Hera is an 11 year old, approx 17 hand Percheron mare. She is well broke to ride, very forward moving and would be ideal for the hilltopper, long days trail rider or train her to jump. She is very athletic and would excel in almost anything. She was not accepting of flyspray but with the help of a Cathy Zahm training halter, she is doing awesome. We highly recommend this mare to a family with skilled riders/handlers as she is indeed an athletic horse. I cant wait to see what her future holds. Power steering, easy turn, good back. Stands quietly for mounting and dismounting, stands at a mounting device, even has a bit of neck reining. Quiet hands required.
