13hh, 12 years old. Yankee Doodle is a Welsh Pony who would probably jump the moon if you asked him to. Doodle is a very straight forward pony who is the "point and shoot" type. Point him to the jump and he goes over anything. Doodle is not suitable for small or inexperienced children. He needs a confident rider who loves to have fun over fences! He has experience in the hunters, equitation and in cross country and is good going through water and pretty much anything you throw at him. Is currently learning his flying changes and is getting them most of the time. He is fancy, and has proven his ability to win at local shows. He showed July 12th and got 2nd out of about 17 riders! Amazing feet, always barefoot. Low maintence, REALLY EASY KEEPER!! Trailers, clips, bathes and stands for the vet and farrier like a pro. Not spooky at all. Three lovely gaits, and a nice and smooth canter on him. He has perfect form over fences, nice straight high knees. This pony could have some higher level show potential if given the opportunity. Puppy dog personality, total cutie pie! I am a college student and therefore have lost my junior status and can no longer afford to keep this gem. He is located in Sanford Maine.
