Sold Congratulations Lynda!..Lena is a black 4 year old Hessel daughter currently in training under saddle. She has great ground manners, stands for farrier, vet, and worming. Loves people and is the first to greet you at the gate. She has had 8 weeks of ground training as a two year old. She learned showmanship, lounging, walking over bridges, tarps and poles. Lena is in week 9 of a 16 week under saddle training session. Currently she is solid at the walk, trot and canter. She is working on collection and headset at this time. Price includes training through mid December. In October she was taken on an 8 hour trail ride with 100 other horses and did great and had only been under saddle for 4 weeks. She was good with the other horses, crossed water and did fine with traffic. She was shown in an open show three weeks ago and placed second out of 4 horses with only 6 weeks under saddle. Also competed in English Pleasure and performed well. She is as spook proof as a young horse can be. Her sire, Hessel, is the well known Friesian Stallion at Blackshire Equestrian Centre and can be seen on this site.
