Sherman is a registered 10 year old 16.1 hh sorrel gelding. He has had over 8 months of professional training, and is currently in training and being shown. I have owned him since birth, and don't need to sell him. I would like to lease him or sell him to someone who will use him to his full potential. He is very kind and easy to get along with. He is compliant and takes training without getting fussy. He knows how to yield to leg pressure, move his forehand and hind quarters, side-pass, counter bend, walk, jog, extend his trot, lope, canter, change leads. He loads, bathes, clips, stands still on the cross ties. He has excellent ground manners. Kids can ride him and lead him. He has been started on jumping and really seems to enjoy it. He was used as a lesson horse a few years ago. He has been trail riding at Potato Creek, rides down the roads and has been to several shows. This gelding has a lot of potential, and needs to go to a serious show competitor. He has a very solid foundation on him and would also make a good dressage horse. He comes with his 1lb. matching tail. Serious inquiries only please. He is located at Faith Training Center in Lakeville Indiana. 7/12/14 I am adding this: I just returned from a show with Sherman this morning. He won Sweepstakes Open English Pleasure, and 19 and over English Pleasure, and placed 2nd in Sweepstakes Open English Equitation. I asked the judge if there was anything that needed improvement, she said that Sherman is looking very good, he is a nice mover and is driving from his hind end. She said I was up against professionals, and he was looking better than their horses. I was very pleased.
