| Aspen is a gorgeous 13 year old, slightly flea bitten gray, TB mare, with a ton of potential. The previous owners took her from being a polo pony, which she hated because of the horses running towards her, to their barn. I bought her off them as a skittish, green horse that was sweetheart and willing to listen. She has a ton of potential if someone has the willingness and the patience to work with her. She is still spookish and and a little skittish under saddle, because of her previous background, but I have found that if you continually work with her, over time she becomes calm and a very fun horse to ride. We have jumped her a few times, with excellent form, except for her running off after the jump because of her excitement. She has to go to a home with at least one other horse, because she gets very attached and hates being by herself. She loads, clips, bathes, ties, and does not crib. She is already flashy and sweet enough, all she needs is the time put into her (which I don't have) for her to become an amazing horse. I am very sad to see her go, because of the bond I have grown with her, but I honestly don't have the time to put into her. Call and ask for Alexis for more information. |
