| Prairie Rain has had extensive handling, training and desensitizing. She has been worked in a round pen and has foundational ground work done. She was started under saddle in January in a hackamore. She stands quietly for saddling, mounting, and dismounting from both sides, has nice turns, backs, good stop and is picking up a nice, easy trot. I have taken her on many trail rides, she has gone on a weekend trip, been to a fun show and started work in the arena. She has handled all of it very calmly. On the trail she will lead as well as follow and she handles traffic noises and other distractions well. She loads and hauls quietly. She is a very confident two year old, keeps her head and really trusts her rider. In May I moved her to a snaffle, she will neck rein as well as direct rein, could easily go Western or English. Call or e-mail for more information on Prairie Rain. |
