| Mac is an energetic and wonderfully sane TB gelding! Clips, ties, bathes, loads, and is a solid arena horse (schooling 1st and 2nd level dressage movements), has competed at 3'3"-3'6", has changes(although I'm sure they're rusty, I don't use them often)-- fantastic canter! I have moved into the dressage world, and now am not using him to his full potential as a jumper-we've had a year of jumping lessons (mostly for me, not for him!), and a few months of cross country and he LOVES it. Talented jumper, a friend of mine who rides jumpers schooled him 3'6-4', even though he's not been schooled over those heights for a year! She said he was basically point-and-shoot, and had a big natural jump, very scopey! Capable of schooling 4'0, maybe higher with consistent work (and a lot of groundwork to keep him supple!). He is sensitive and fun, never been sick or unsound a day in the time that I've owned him. Easy keeper-I have him on a very small amount of grain each day, mostly just grass hay and turnout!I kept him totally unshod all winter, no special shoes needed for competition season! Body clips without problem, trailers like a champ, ties, crossties, bathes, stands for vet and farrier. Current on all vaccinations, including west nile and strangles. I can only hope someone will appreciate this great guy as much as I do. I am simply not capable enough to take this fellow as high as he'd like to go. Int-Adv rider, age of rider not important, price is definitely negotiable to good home |
