2005 KBHA Reserve Champion ABRA Open 2 year old Mare.
I am going to offer my big buckskin mare, Becky, for sale at this time. I will sell her for the right price. Good home a must, prefer a show home that will do something with her.
She is broke to ride, been trail rode mostly but has been ridden in our town parade with a few hundred people around, and rode down the road. Vehicles do not bother her, people do not bother her, dogs do not bother her, will cross ditches, bridges, go through brush and timber, deer and turkeys do not bother her. Will ride double. My 6 year old son can ride double on her. She is an excellent barrel prospect. She has speed to burn, can stop and turn, and has a powerful take off. But will be calm up until you ask for it, and will calm down quickly after you ask her to slow down. No tie down! Does need some work on giving to your feet and hands to make her lighter and more supple.
She ties, loads, trims, clips, bathes, etc. NO bad habits (no cribbing, biting, kicking, rearing, etc.) UTD on shots, dewormed regularly, great feet!! Big boned, big framed mare. My pictures do not do her justice. Need to see in person!
She is 100% sound to my knowledge. Vet checks at buyers expense. She has a 'dip' in her right chest muscle from cutting her muscle when she was a year and a half old. It healed, just left and indention in the muscle. She was show in halter and won Reserve Champion in the KBHA AFTER she had this accident. She was NOT born with it. It does not cause her any problems at all. She has had sarcoids around her eyes at one time. Waiting for hot weather to get here to see if they come back.
Her sire ran AA on the track and has many AA/AAA/AAAT runners on his papers. He is 37.5% Three Bars by blood. He is also the sire of my sorrel Fancy mare I owned who went to Utah with plans of going on the pro curcuit.
Her dam is an ABRA World Champion Halter mare. She is by an ABRA World Champion buckskin, Boston Charmer. Dam also is a granddaughter of Zippo Pine Bar. Pedigree is loaded with proven horses.
