| "Lady" is a lovely aged mare that has been used for dressage, trails, eventing (even water), English pleasure, hunter jumper, equitation, and just about anything else you can think of. She has wonderful ground manners, and has been ridden by adults and children (adv.beg. unless in arena), and in the "ribbons" for both in open shows. She has not been ridden much in the last few years but was schooled in basic dressage for many years and can perform 2nd work when brought back into shape. She will not breed. She is a thoroughbred// hannavarian cross with a gorgeous arabian type head. She must be field kept, as she was abused many years ago and weaves. Lady is dog friendly and current head mare and great Auntie to our foals. She would make a perfect Christmas gift for a young rider that is confident enough to ride a strong hand gallop in the pasture, or take lessons until they had solid advanced beginner skills. Delivery possible in the DFW area, or for reasonable mileage charge. I will take current pictures as soon as it quits raining and can email to interested buyers. |
