| She is a beautiful, elegant Jockey Club registered dark bay mare (no papers available due to the price we purchased her at to get her off the farm she was at). She was trained as a racehorse but never made it to the track due to lack of speed (not even tattoed). She has been ridden on many trail rides and does w/t nicely but is a little heavy on the forehand at the canter, but doesn't run off, absolutely no buck or rear to this mare. She had a beautiful and unique Appaloosa colt in 2005. She is very sweet, not moody, doesn't crib or have any vices, is a beautiful mover with a very extended, floating trot and ground covering canter. She'll be a winner in the show ring. Price will go up later this spring when started back under saddle and into the hunter show ring for flat and o/f classes. Is breeding sound and possibly in foal, was exposed to an APHA black and white stallion for a June 2008 foal, but we don't think she took. Possibly a 2-1 deal though. She's been in heat several times already this year and by the looks of her she's not near a final trimester. More photos available. Serious inquiries only please. |
