| JKR Rosita is a 15 year old, 14.2 hand, chocolate palomino dun, registered Peruvian Paso mare by Solariego out of JKR Sirena. Bred by the famous Hadalgos at the JKR Ranch, and is a great granddaughter of Sol De Paijan, a very sought after bloodline. She is a very pretty chocolate palomino Dun mare, with a silver mane, and very nice dapples. Because of her markings Kim believes she carries the Sabino color gene. She stands just at or just under 14.2 hands. When the Hadalgos retired she was sold to an older man, who got to old to ride. She was then sold to Sharlane Clattenburg for her teenage daughter. She was gently raised by her first owner and Sharlane and Zolio Sifuentes, a well known Master Trainer from Peru, finished her. But, sadly Sharlane's daughter tragically died in an auto accident, and it was a hard reminder with Rosa there.........so she was sold to Kim. Rosa has very tough feet, strong legs, and is very hardy overall. She has average lift, termino, and brio, but above all she is the smoothest of any gaited horse I have every ridden. Very easy keeper, neat, great with all herd horses, trailers, trims, ties, etc. Has produced one foal by the stallion Fenix. This gelding is probably a smoky black and is 14.2 plus at three years old; a very nice gelding. She was a perfect mother to him and allowed us to do anything we needed to without any problems.
