| Lambs Mark (Lea) lives out in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with her pasture-mates of ten years. She is an inquisitive mare who likes attention. Her bloodlines include French racing stock on her dam's side(TB) and Champion Halter, Western Pleasure and Performance Producers on her sire's side (QH). She herself is a registered American Paint Horse Association Breeding Stock individual. I believe she demonstrates some of the best traits of each side of her parentage, as a typical Appendix horse might. She is so pretty with a really lovely shiny copper penny color and a really cute square muzzle that finds its way into lots of mischief if stray objects are forgotten in the barnyard! She IS intelligent. :)
She has had one foal, a muscular colt in 2002. She was a great mom. The colt was purchased because he was "built like a tank" and his North Carolinian owner was happy.
Lea has received professional training, including dressage basics, jumping of a small course, trail and road experience. She is responsive under saddle and really tries hard to do what is asked of her.
We've owned Lea since she was a foal at the side of her dam about three months old. She's been BAREFOOT almost always. She's a good girl, gets along well with other horses. She's quiet, in that she does not vocalize very often, unlike her very vocal pasture-mate. Finanances necessitate sale. If you're looking for a horse to dote on and finish for competition or your own pleasure, visit "Lea". Come and See her in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia off of Interstate 81 ! |
