| Smokey is an 18 yo black Appendix gelding. We bought him in March of last year for my step-sister. Smokey can ride western/neck rein or English. He is very secure on trails and doesnt spook much at all. He can be a bit energetic and peppy, but calms down easily with the right kind of hand. He is more for an Intermediate rider. I have been working him to build up his muscle and mainly ride him English.He does w/t/c and picks up the correct lead when asked. Smokey has jumping experience, I have been jumping him over some 2 ft jumps and he goes over them like a perfect gentleman and I am training him for hunters. He loads/ties/bathes/clips well and is current on his coggins/worming and he is very good with his feet, he is currently barefoot. He is sound. Reason for selling is we need to downsize our herd and my step-sister cannot handle the responsibilty of owning a horse. We cannot provide trailering for him at this time.
