| Rusty is a really nice guy. He stands nice for the ferrier and vet, loads with ease, gets along with other horses, comes when called, loves attention and being brushed. He is broke to ride and rides very nice. He does however need an intermediate to experienced rider as he will test you every now and then. Nothing bad though…will drop his head to eat, not want to neck rein or want to go anywhere. Once he knows he can’t get away with anything he is fine. He has never offered to kick or buck. He can be taken out alone or with other horses. He is not buddy sour or barn sour. He is use to farm machinery and is very curious when something is running. He has top bloodlines going back to Tee Jay Roman, Jackie Bee, Midnight, Cutter Bill, and Skipper W…many of which were top winning cutting horses, AQHA Champions & top show with several in the AQHA Hall of Fame. He would make someone a real nice horse for whatever just needs to be worked with. He is a fast learner and very smart which makes training a breeze.
Had my trainer over last night and had a spring tune up on the boys and Rusty did wonderful. He was worked in the round pen and ridden and he was a champ. We were windy here last night and while the trainer was in the saddle talking to us the door on the shed flew open and made a loud band as it hit the side of the shed and Rusty didn't even flinch. Just stood there like nothing happened. I can't stress enough about the fact that he has a very kind eye.
I am looking to get $1,500. Happy Horse Hunting!! |
