Description
He has been to Wild River State park, Sunrise park and Kathio state park. He also came straight from Kentucky, right where these horses should be trained. Those people bred for him and had him for years for trail riding and they really liked him also. Just had to many so a few had to go. My husband had no problems trail riding this horse , James goes right out and trail rode like they should and does what is asked of him and seems to enjoy it. He gaits, infact you can see his shoulder move with so much motion even walking in the pasture. He has some big strides with those shoulders also. Which also makes his walk move right out so he is not slow. His gait is different then the foot movement I see in most walkers, his gait is in his shoulder not his feet. If you watch a rider on him you can see them move up and down with the horse (no bounce though). Ive never seen that in another horse, even gaited ones. And yep he has the good head bob when he is out and gaiting. There is no buck or rear and he is not hyper or skittish. But a mover in his walk which most gaited horses are. We have trailered him many times. He is very sweet in the pasture to people, likes to be caught and in your face. Tacks up with no problem. He told me today he wants a flashier horse (his other horse is a dark dappled palomino so I think he is kind of spoiled). James is 15 hands. Not stocky or narrow just right in the middle and of course a big shoulder. This horse is well broke and has put on the miles. He would easily take a intermediate rider. Not a plug though so I would NOT say for beginners. He can move out pretty quick like you want out of a gaited horse. He will leave your typical horse behind unless gaited or high energy. The second you get on this horse he does not want to sit, he wants to trail ride. He will lead any ride all day long.

Ok. got some pics today while riding. Please excuse the mud, it is April and we live in clay. Wormed today April 20th.
