| UPDATE:
I've decided to keep Ninya and show her. She's also getting professional training for 6 weeks this summer on barrels and english showing so if you are really interested in her e-mail and we may be able to work out a deal.
Ninya is a do it all kind of mare. If you are looking for a new show, lesson, and trail combination horse look no further.
I purchased Nina in April of 2005 when she was just under 2 years old. As soon as we bought her we had 30 days of professional training to get the fundamentals down but from there out I’ve done all her training myself. Nina walks, trots, canters, gallops, jumps up to 2’6” currently, moves away from pressure, both from rein and leg cues.
I can trust Ninya with ANYONE (even small children and those who've never ridden before) to ride Ninya at the walk and trot. She's good at the canter for confident beginners and up. She's never bucked, kicked or reared with a student but will test older riders to see if they know what they are doing. Ninya really teaches the kids to actually ride. One of my 11 year old students is currently walking, trotting, cantering and jumping Nina over 2 foot fences.
I’ve riden Ninya on the trails since the summer of 06. I work as a wrangler all summer at a camp in east Texas so for the past 2 summers shes been all over the hills, pastures and water crossings of east Texas. On trail rides shes been the line leader, caboose and everywhere in between.
For the breeders out there Ninya's a palomino tobiano registered paint that would produce color if you wish to breed.
Ninya is one of the sweetest horses I’ve ever owned. She just wants to be loved on all the time; she thinks she’s a puppy! She’s never kicked or bitten purposely and I hate to part with her but I'm looking for an older, show gelding in order to get back in to the show ring.
