Andy is a 10 year old paint gelding. He is a great trail horse and He is safe and comfortable. We brought him to Mikey Stables of Rusty gate ranch for training for pleasure horse shows years ago. I have showed him for years. He is a showmanship machine and is a easy ride. You dont need to ride him with spurs and he neck reins. He is not a finished horse but has lots of good traning and protensial under his belt. He clips, bathes, and loads in any trailer. I think he could also be a great walk trot horse for a little boy or girl. We did buy him from a bad home that gave him a permanet bump on his nose. Last year in December after show season he had some sorness in his RF so we brought him to the Morrie Waud Equine Center to evalute him. They said in his RF foot there are no signs of coffin joint or pastern joint arthritis. He has increased bony proliferation (sclerosis) on the flexor (back) border of the navicular bone near the deep digital flexor tendon. In December of last and may of this year the RF navicular bursa was injected with 12mg triamcinolone and 125mg amikacin. Ever sence he had no problems at all. We just took him off a blood thinner in pill form that would help his blood move though out his legs. As of now all he is on is two joint supplements. I come out to ride him 4 times a week and every weekend and he gets turned out every day and can be turned out with gelding, mares, and ponys NO minis. He doesnt get along with them. I am going to be a senior in high school this year so it will be difficult for me to keep him moving good so it has come down to sell him to a good caring home. Andy is all up to date on shots and coggins.
