Poncho is 9 years old, and I believe that he is a mustang/quarter horse mix. I have had Poncho for 7 years now and was only a little girl of 10 when I originally purchased him. Unfortunately for Poncho, I have had no time to ride him between work and school. Until last October Poncho was being ridden on a regular basis and was jumping 2'9-3'0 with the potential to go further; he had no vices and was an almost perfect pony. I have used Poncho for Western riding, trail riding, show jumping, as a hunter/jumper, and even for Fox hunting, He also shows potential for three day eventing. Poncho is an easy keeper; he has never had any health problems and has never been lame. Poncho is not a horse for beginner riders and likes to challenge his riders, but if you prove that you are the boss he will respect you. I believe that with the proper amount of attention it would take only a few weeks to return Poncho to a great riding horse but he will need work. He has the cutest "puppy dog" personality and tries very hard to please.
