Aspen is 15.2hh, 1200lb solid horse. She's grade. She is a paint x percheron cross. She's 14. Foaled April 15th, 1998. Aspen is an all around mare. She absolutely loves trail riding. She has no spook in her whatsoever. I've taken her on trails where she has encountered cars, a deer, rustling leaves, other horses on the trial, running water etc. She doesn't spook at anything. She will pass through water/mud and go over branches. She has also been ridden English: pleasure and dressage. She was used as a game horse at county fair shows. She gets very excited when she sees barrels. The reason I am selling Aspen is because I want to get into jumping and that is one thing she does not like. She gets very nervous and would be best suited in a home where she doesn't have to jump. You can ride her bareback & in a halter and lead rope. I'd trust any age rider on her. No buck or rear. She does need a more firm and experienced handler because she can be pushy and she is strong. She is UTD on coggins, farrier, teeth, shots, worming and chiro. She's barefoot. Never been lame. Very solid mare. Forgiving enough for kids to ride her but strong enough for a large adult to ride. She lunges, stands tied for hours, loves to be groomed, stands for bathing, picks up all feet, jumps right into a trailer. She listens to leg cues very well and barely even have to use any hands. I am only her second owner. I have plenty of photos of her. I'm asking $1,500 obo
