BRV Shes Dun Painted, a Red Dun Tobiano mare foaled 6/26/2000. She has great bloodlines including Doc Tom Tucker and Poco Champ. A proven Brood mare, she's a phenomenal trail horse, leads or follows, not herd bound, confident and doesn't refuse things on the trail. She's been around a lot of guns so would probably make a great hunting or pack horse ( I have not packed on her) and I think she would do a great job of pulling a cart as well with her calm demeanor. (Not cart trained, but we do cart training, so could if you are interested..). She is not a fast horse and would not make a good gamer, but she is smooth like a Cadillac and you can ride this sweety all day. She is Western Pleasure and Cow horse bred. She is kid and husband safe. She is about 14'3 and built like a tank. She has been used for lessons with new and young riders. This is the kind of girl who can sit out in the pasture for months and you can go out and jump on. She had a foal in July. After several months of not being ridden, I went out, threw her halter on with a rope, jumped up bareback, and had a wonderful ride. I took her over tarps, walked, trotted, stopped, back etc., with no difficulty at all. Her foal is now weaned, and I have put some time on her.
