Sheza is a great mare and very good on the trails. Crosses water, logs, and anything asked of her. Soft on the bit and responds to leg pressure. She is 15 hands (still growing as she is a 3 year old this spring) and very well built. Straight legs, pretty head, really nice hip, and good bone. She would make an excellent trail horse for someone looking for a horse that gets noticed! I took her on the trails last fall and got several comments about her gorgeous color and her nice, big, size as a two year old. Most people on the rides thought she was a four year old! She was extremely laid back and had a very willing to please attitude for only two. Sheza loves attention and is easy to catch (comes running when called). Stands for the bridle and saddle. Crosses tarps, ground poles, tin, small bridges, etc in the arena. Stands for the farrier and vet. Never bred or exposed to a stallion. She is 3 this spring and has such a good start under saddle- we are looking for someone that will continue riding her and give her a job in the arena or on the trails. Her breeding should also allow her to be a really nice gaming/rodeo/show horse. When asked to open up and run, she doesnt get "hot" and hard to stop. She will shut back down and continue at a walk when asked. Very nice canter and easy trot. Her sire was sold/exported to Europe in 2008. She is AQHA registered and eligible for PtHA, IBHA, and ABRA associations as well. She was foundation tested at 75% NFQHA. Genetics tested through Animal Genetics and UC Davis as EeaaCrcrDd, HYPP (not Impressive bred) N/N, PSSM1 N/N, GBED N/N, Herda N/Hrd. www(dot)mjkquarterhorses(dot)com
