Dusty is a 9 yr old 15.1 hand tall Registered Blue Papered Strawberry Roan Missouri Fox Trotter Gelding. He is Zane Grey and Missouri Traveler bred. He is absolutely gorgeous, and has the perfect build and conformation. He goes right into his gait, and will go right into a canter when asked...say whoa, and Dusty stops on a dime. Dusty does not have to be going full throttle all the time, and will walk along the trails until asked to gait. He will ride out alone, or in a large group of horses. Dusty is perfect for a beginner starting out with Gaited horses, and he is extremely well mannered and super easy to handle. Neck reins on a dime, walks on a loose rein, say stand and just lay the reins down, say back, and he will tuck his head and back all the way across the pasture. Super, super quiet acting and so obedient. He has been used for trail riding and camping his whole life, and crosses anything on the trail. There is no need to work him first...just throw on the saddle and go. Dusty has probably seen more hours on the trail than most people have...nothing is new to him, and traffic does not bother him in the least bit. He is very easy to catch, hops into the trailer and stands tied all day long. Easy keeper, and holds his weight nicely just off of hay and pasture.
