13-year old registered thoroughbred mare in need of a new home due to financial difficulties. Ally is a dark bay 16.1 hands mare with primarily English/hunter pleasure training. She has previously been in shows and always did well in her class. She is also wonderful on trails. She has a lot of go and moves off your leg well. She loves people and is very playful and extremely eager to please her person. She does not buck or rear, and is not very spooky. Although she has a very sweet disposition, she is not a beginners horse. She is very forward moving and with her energy level she needs a home with an experienced horse person. She gets along very well with other horses (she is not an alpha mare) trailers, cross-ties perfectly, clips, and stands for the farrier. Her ground manners are very, very good. Her only health issue is that she has a club foot and is suitable for flat work and trails only. No jumping. She currenlty has shoes on her front feet (no back shoes needed) and needs to be shod regulary and correctly to maintain soundness. The price reflects this and we are asking $650. Approved home only.
