Gorgeous Red Roan Rides and Drives
Ginger is a 10 year old, 14.3 hand, red roan, haflinger/Suffolk cross. Stocky build. Ideal for a larger rider that doesn't want a huge horse. Rides and drives. Takes English or western tack, but does not neck rein. Great ground manners. Hasn't been on trails in a while, but when she was used as a trail horse, she crossed water, bridges, and other obstacles. Extremely surefooted on steep terrain. No buck, bite, kick, or rear, but needs a confident rider or she will go her own way. Was Amish owned a few years ago and was used to pull buggies, discs, plows, etc. Looks at new things in the ring and does not like loud noises, but does not spook hard. Good feet, needs no shoes. Sound and has no vices. Very easy keeper. Loads on step-ups and ramps. Doesn't mind clippers. Gets along with mares and geldings. UTD on teeth, feet, rabies, tetanus, and worming. Selling because my mom needs something easier for young relatives that come to ride.
