Muchacha de Oro (Golden Girl in Spanish) is a strikingly
beautiful 14.2hh, 8 year old Paso Fino mare, a dappled palomino with a luxuriant white mane and tail. A Ferrari of the horse world, she loves to go, has incredible energy and endurance and great brio. She has an excellent smooth and steady gait, both the corto and largo, and if you ask for it, a racing full-out gallop.
She is the perfect horse for a confident rider who enjoys moving out. She is great both on the trail and in the ring. She trail rides regularly and has done grueling endurance trail rides in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and Ohio, unphased by steep and rocky terrain. She has excellent, hard feet and has always been barefoot. At the PFHA sanctioned Canadian Paso Classic this past summer, she won nine ribbons: a first, four seconds, three thirds and a fourth, in various pleasure classes.
Muchacha has a wonderful personality. She is willing, loving, curious and wants to please. Beautifully trained, she stands still for mounting and is very responsive to the rider's cues. She loads into a trailer at the pointing of a finger, having had Natural Horsemanship training.
Muchacha will be competing again at the Erin Fall Fair on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, October 8, 2012, offering an opportunity for interested persons to see her in action.
