Sad to say I’m selling Rheinland Pfalz-Saar mare (registered Canadian Warmblood) Roughly 16hh, born in 2007. Sire: Elazar (Trakehner) – Elegant stallion, solid dressage training under Carol Laval - preliminary show jumper. Dam: Silja (American Warmblood) – Superb and elegant athlete – Outstanding dressage and spectacular hunter. She has a passport, and I have her registry papers still.
She is an excellent horse with a heart of gold. Sweetest mare I’ve ever known and I say that because I was opposed to buying a mare prior to getting her. She is truly a best friend type horse, and loves to work which makes training so much easier. Started professionally under saddle in her early years, and was in steady training. Took the last two or so years off of competining seriously, due to school and not having enough time to travel. She has been in and out of training in that time, which explains why she hasn’t been doing much for her age and ability. She would make a great mid-high level dressage horse, or mid-level hunter/jumper, or equitation horse. Needs consistent work, but is very willing. Loves to learn and try new things, she is not afraid to work by any means. More of a sensitive horse and needs a patient rider. She currently can jump a 2’6 course with lots of room to go higher, and no fear whatsoever. Will never refuse a fence nor look at one, confident jumper. Currently 1ST level dressage, with plenty of room to succeed at a higher level, with training. Best suited for a really quite advanced/professional rider. More whoa then go, but as most horses she needs a consistent leg as a reminder.
Potential to become Prix St. George dressage horse, with more training and experience.
Clips, ties, stands, etc. Good with farrier, currently barefoot. Great for vet as well.
I am only selling her due to the fact that I do not have time for her any longer. She deserves a consistent and serious rider who can compete with her and taker her to new levels. I bought her as a competition horse, but as I’ve gotten into university the last two years, I have less and less time for her. It kills me to see her go, but I know she’ll be happier with a consistent working pattern.
