Wyatt is an 8yr old 14.1 hand tall Buckskin Quarter Horse Gelding. He looks like the "true" cowboy horse, and is the perfect size and stocky built. All Wyatt wants in life is for someone to love on him, and is a little sweetie-pie! He has had one owner his entire life, and has been used as a trail horse. Wyatt has been taught since he was a 2yr old, not to ever break a walk on the trails. He will walk along all day long at a slow pace, or you can kick him up into a faster walk. If you try to get him to go into a trot, he'll do one or two steps of it, then stop and turn and look at you, because he knows he's not supposed to do that. If there is something scary, Wyatt just shuts down and stands there and turns and nudges your boot, until you tell him it's okay to go on. He listens to every word that you are saying, and you can watch his ears flick back and forth when you are talking to him. He has no problem crossing anything, and even though he prefers to be the following horse, he will get out and lead by hearing you tell him it's okay to go. He neck reins, backs, and stops just by applying slight pressure. He stands tied quietly, stands for tacking and mounting, and waits to be told to move on. In the pasture Wyatt is one of the first to come and see you, and a lot of times can be found waiting at the gate. He's not too high on the pecking order, and chooses to hang out with the easier going horses. Wyatt's favorite thing is too put his head on your chest, and wants your affection so bad!! Wyatt has been seen by a vet and received a new Coggins, and is current on vaccines and wormings. *Shipping is available, at an additional cost.
