2007 HALF FRIESIAN MARE
SIRE: HESSEL H (BLACKSHIRE FARM)
REGISTERED FRIESIAN HERITAGE HORSE AND SPORT HORSE
FEIT INSPECTED 7.233 SPORT HORSE (2nd PREMIUM)
Adalia Bella H is a nearly 6 year old, 16.1 hh half Friesian, half Peruvian Paso mare who is for lease or possibly for sale to the right person. The mix sounds strange, I know, but it actually gives you the best of both worlds - a comfortable, smooth ride due to the slight Termino (swinging out from the shoulders of the front legs) and A LOT of forward from the Peruvian side and the height, look, and a decent amount of suspension from the Friesian side. Adalia DOES NOT “GAIT” and has a correct walk, trot, canter. Her walk is long and naturally overtracking with a very swingy back, her trot is very forward, and her canter is lovely and uphill. She is an excellent Dressage prospect. I have shown her only 4-5 times in Intro and Training Level tests at schooling shows and has scored in the mid 60’s.
I’ve done Parelli ground work with Adalia since she was only a few months old. She is L2/3 on the ground and in the saddle. She is a LBE/RBE and loves to play. She needs an advanced intermediate horseperson or higher because she has a lot of energy and is very expressive of her opinions. I would prefer someone with some natural horsemanship background to lease her because she needs an outlet for her energy and to be allowed to express herself.
She has been barefoot her whole life and has excellent, hard feet. Has been consistently dewormed and vaccinated and has been seen by the equine dentist, is in excellent health. The lease at Lakeview Farm in Hugo, MN would be as follows: $120 for 2 days/week $175 for 3 days/week plus pay farrier every other time or $240 for 7 days/week plus pay full farrier and I get to ride her once per week.
A lease off-property would be considered for the right person/place and would mean that you pay me nothing, you only pay for her board/care wherever she is and allow me to ride her once per week. Please contact me for more information. Misty Caston 612-423-9774, [email protected]
