I bought Dawson as a project and have had him for over a year and a half. I have put a lot of work into his over-all health and conditioning. Hes had a good foundation in all of the basics and just needs to be taken in whatever direction you wish. He has been shown Training through First Level in Dressage, in addition to going to a few hunter shows and being shown on the rail. Hes schooling small courses over fences and seems to really like jumping. I'm a former AQHA competitor and have also shown Dawson in Western Dressage and done some in hand training for fun. Hes very quiet on the ground and is used to dogs, cats and children. Stands for the vet and farrier and is easy to bathe and clip (his ears do to take some time but do not require a twitch). He is sound with no vices, not spooky, no buck or rear. Works best for a confident beginner (or above) or someone working with a trainer in a lesson program if they are riding at a lower level. He has the personality to be suited for a beginner but is still green. I am selling Dawson as it is time to move along to another horse. OTD on shots, teeth, farrier etc.
