SALE PENDING 2/24/12 Price can be negotiable to a good home. Reno is an 11 year old Tennessee Walker 15.1hh bay. Reno is a trail riders dream. He is gentle on the ground, easy to mount, easy to ride. He has a great personality. Reno is a quiet, sound and sane trail horse. He will flat walk on a loose rein or gait on a loose or slacked rein. Reno rides out by himself, goes over wooden bridges, metal bridges, leads, follows, rides in the middle, rode with green horses, etc. Reno has been on many overnight and weekend long camping trips. He loads and hauls easily, ties to tie lines or trees or cross ties. Reno is easy to shoe and saddle. Reno will ride for anyone, but he is gaited and moves out quickly (his previous owner gps clocked him at 13 mph). Reno has been rode at Beaver Creek, Two-Mile Run, Jefferson, Harrison, Cleveland Metro Parks, Hocking Hills, Salt Fork, in KY, IN and TN as well. Reno loads and hauls very well ( slant, straight load, stock, including self loading and unloading). Reno can haul anyone, any size around without tiring easily. Reno rides with saddle bags and rain gear, neck reins, and leg cues. Reno is a point and go anywhere on the trail horse. He will cross water (including belly deep water) and go through mud and brush to cut the trail. Reno will work in an arena as well as the trail. Reno is utd on vet, farrier and teeth. Great husband horse, ladies horse, kids horse, but you need to be familiar with gaited horses as he likes to move out. Tack him up and he is easy to ride, easy to gait, stays in gaits, a rocking chair canter. Not cinchy or cold-backed. Reno rides past dogs, tractors, 4-wheelers and is traffic safe. Reno does not mind deer in the woods (or even coyotes!). Reno gets along with all other horses in the pasture. He is not buddy sour. Reno is a very willing horse. He is an easy keeper, can be kept in a stall or out 24/7. Leave him sit for a while, pull him out and he is a quiet ride. Not spooky, sound, just a great trail horse. Reno is one of the best trail horses that I have owned. He is my personal horse and I trust him to take care of his rider.
